In the beginning of today's episode of Maaati, Surekha presents flowers and cards to Abir to express her love. Even Charu tries to make him happy by sending him small gifts. But Abir, while talking to Manish, tells him that he thinks people's love is more valuable than his professional success. Manish explains to him how important it is to focus on his career. At this moment, Swarna reminds Manish that he is going to receive an important award today. Surekha asks if Abir will also go with her. But Abir says that he has to be busy with other work.
On the other hand, a big tension arises between Armaan and Abhira. Armaan comes to Abhira and asks why the divorce papers have been sent to him. Abhira is shocked and says that she does not know anything about it. Their conversation gradually becomes emotional. They share the grief of their lost child. Armaan keeps apologizing to Abhira, but Abhira reminds him of his betrayal and makes it clear that their relationship can never be the same again.
The Podhar and Goenka families attend the award ceremony together. However, everyone senses that there is a strange distance between the two families. The journalists start asking various questions about the situation. Madhav tries to downplay the matter. But inside, Manish warns Kaveri. Kaveri gets angry when she sees that her nameplate has been removed. Sanjay uses this opportunity to provoke Kaveri and says that Manish is ruining her honor and dignity.
To everyone's surprise, Kaveri gives Manish her shoes instead of giving him the award on stage. She immediately complains that Manish is responsible for the family's troubles. Manish is stunned. Sanjay immediately tells Armaan about the incident, and Armaan rushes there.
Meanwhile, Abhira and Armaan's personal conflict continues. Abhira makes it clear that Armaan has broken her trust. She does not want to continue the relationship in any way.
A heated argument breaks out between Kaveri and Manish on stage. Avira and Armaan try to reconcile the matter on behalf of both families, but end up arguing themselves. The situation gets worse when Kaveri insults Avira for her failure to give birth to a child. Armaan takes Kaberi's side, which hurts Avira even more.
Manish intervenes and tells Avira not to waste time with the Poddars anymore. Armaan then angrily pushes Manish. Avira immediately stands by Manish and makes it clear to Armaan that she will not continue this relationship anymore. Maintaining her self-respect, she takes the final decision.
In the last scene, Armaan comes to know that the divorce papers were indeed sent by Avira. Kaveri challenges him, if he wants to get Avira back, he has to take action now. Armaan promises that he will try his best to get Avira back. But Avira is adamant about his decision.
